TELECOMMUNICATION DEFINED- FOR YOU
1 : communication at a distance (as by telephone, email, internet, etc.)
2 : technology that deals with telecommunication -- usually used in plural
OBJECTIVE: The study guide lists how we have changed because of multimedia.
Now, that you know this. I want you to research on the internet a business-
access the Internet and search for an online tutorial about telecommunications and how telecommunications are used in day-to-day business such as: airline industry, banking industry, investment industry, and credit card services.
You will also search for web sites that offer information about telecommunications.
QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERED

* Identify and describe the elements of communication, telecommunication,and communications systems.

* What are they doing now, that they were not doing 20 years ago because of their communication methods
* By providing the history of the organization you will be able to demonstrate how they company has evolved with technology. (EX: 20's 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's 90's, present)
* How has the organization changed by new technology?
* How have new inventions in communication impacted this organization?
• Identify and describe how telecommunications services are used in the following industries: Airline industry, Banking industry, Investment industry, and Credit card services.-
II. Students will compile a worksheet answering the above questions
-Decide how you will present your information
1. Essay
2. Powerpoint
3. Creating a blog with hyperlinks, that answer the questions.
